Château Colin de Pey - Premières Côtes de Bordeaux

Château Colin de Pey

A unique fine wine

Colin de Pey is the very hillside wine. It grows on one of the highest hills in the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux area, swept by the winds that blow down the Garonne River. Château Colin de Pey spreads over 9 hectares (about 18 acres) of clay and silt, and clay and gravelly soil.

But the peerless personality of Colin de Pey, its texture, its silkiness, are all due to the presence of Malbec.

Planted on the top of the Chanteloup hill, this very old parcel of malbec combines with the deep gravely soil of the underground to produce extremely complex fruit.

The addition of Malbec when blending makes Colin de Pey a unique Premières Côtes de Bordeaux wine, with a stunning personality, both masculine and feminine, powerful and round, refined and fruity.
